NixPixArt - Beautiful & Unique Pencil Drawings

Nick was born and grew up in Oxford, England. He emigrated to New Zealand in 1997, to marry his long time Kiwi girlfriend.

Some years ago Nick's wife commissioned an artist to do a sketch of his young Clydesdale stallion as a surprised birthday gift. Not long after the sketch was received, Nick decided, whilst his wife was away for a few days, to have a go at drawing their Clydesdale mare, Kennybrook Maude. The result is displayed below.

The way Nick has captured the mare's essence in his drawing is breathtaking - Her previous owners have a copy on their wall and commented, "It is unbelievable how Nicks pencil sketch has captured her character. Her eye is just unmistakable"

The commissioned sketch of Robbie, whilst technically extremely good, just did not capture his spirit or personality whereas the drawing that Nick created of Debi (Kennybrook Maude) nearly jumps to life off the page.

To this day, people who have commissioned Nick to draw their horses/pets  all say the same thing - He has an uncanny ability for capturing the spirit of the animal that he draws and this is the one thing that artists can find most difficult to do.
